Wot! No beer? (5th June 2008) And we were going to have a meal, too. Oh well. Probably run out of crisps as well.

Stumbled across your website whilst surfing the net. Made a mental note to pay a visit next summer and sample the atmosphere, friendliness and character of The Thatch. (Was that okay cousin?)

this website was indeed created by a genius, Sadly Phill Wills passed away yesterday. He was a top bloke who will be sadly missed by anyone who knew him.

One small point that confuses me is why have you got a wonderful picture of me behind the bar ? I am most flattered and in my final days as prime minister I am most grateful that you honour me is such a wonderful way. I must make a note to pop in and sample your wonderful beers (at your expense) soon. regards Tony Blair PM

As the previous person pointed out, the pub has a great atmosphere, excellent food and great ales along with friendly staff who all make you feel welcome and at home. It is a shame that Mr Moxey is unable to accept that there are still some people who are just courteous whilst working in their job which this young ‘bar steward’ obviously is. I suggest you visit this pub for yourself and make your own mind up.

A really good night out with good real ale, reasonably priced drinks and a cracking atmosphere. Shame about the lankey "suits you sir" bar stewerd !!! :)
