DAYTIME OFFERS

Although the full menu is also available, we have a special selection of dishes available at just £5 each Mondays to Saturdays 12 noon to 6 p.m.

These include our amazing Abbot Ale Beer Battered Fish and Chips and the Roast of the Day with roast potatoes, vegetables, gravy and all the trimmings, together with a variety of other choices of fresh, home cooked food.

CLASSIC PUB GRUB

Traditional pub dishes, like Ham, Eggs and Chips; Scampi, Chips and Peas; Plated Roast and Curry all feature in this section, many with gluten free versions available

BURGERS

Build your own burger from our selection of fillings from the traditional 100% beef beef patty to Doner Kebab Meat. All are served in a tasty Brioche bun on salad with our own special burger sauce and you can select which potato (if any) you require and a huge variety of toppings. Vegetarian options are available.

STEAKS

British chicken breast fillets, gammon steaks, 6oz, 8oz, 12oz and 16oz rump steaks, all served with salad coleslaw, onion rings, breaded garlic mushrooms and chips. We also are able to provide bigger steaks up to a staggering sixty four ounce rump steak if pre ordered. Our char-grill also offers classic pub dishes such as surf and turf and a mega mixed grill of gammon, rump, eggs, onion rings and mushrooms

OUR SIGNATURE DISHES

Although we are a traditional pub, serving pub fare,  alongside dishes such as Hand Battered Fish and Chips you will find more unusual dishes, like a brioche bread crust pudding of confit duck leg and breast and wild mushroom cooked in port with a plum, port and mushroom gravy

Traditional favourites such as Sticky Toffee Pudding vie with our delightful gluten free Banana and Sultana Cake to round off your meal. For sheer extravagance try a Vanilla and Caramel Sundae topped with whipped cream or a gooey Chocolate Fondant with double cream!
